Half Moon Bay Little League is a nonprofit organization that received its initial charter in 1969. Total operating expenses are approximately $125,000 per year. Typical expenses incurred include uniforms and playing equipment, field maintenance, insurance, publications, and other support services. The funds to cover these expenses come from player registration fees, snack bar profits, the annual fund-raising event, Donor Club contributions, and Team and other sponsorship fees.
The purpose of the organization is to support, promote and facilitate youth baseball in the city of Half Moon Bay and it's surrounding coastside communities reaching from Montara to Pescadero. Last season our organization administered 26 Spring teams, 4 Spring post-season teams, and 6 Fall Ball teams, each with 8 separate levels (Whiffle Ball, T-Ball, Coach Pitch, AAA, Minors, Majors, Juniors and Challenger). The number of players who participated in HMB Little League in the fiscal year was approximately 350, serving youth ages from 3 to 14.

Our mission is to provide a safe and positive playing experience for players, parents and volunteers and to assist youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being.
